Research Overview
Dr Robertson's research centres on the dynamics of competitive strategy; competition in high-velocity and turbulent environments; dynamic capabilities; agent-based modeling of inter-firm competition; and the strategic management of financial services firms.
His current research has two main areas: the use of agent based models and social network analysis to investigate these research areas.
A chartered accountant and chartered physicist, he has worked for KPMG in the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand. He gained his DPhil (PhD) from the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford and his first degree in physics from Imperial College, University of London.
